The phone is covered 24/7, including weekends and holidays, because that is when most of these calls actually come in.
Nothing to pay for being connected
Using this service costs you nothing. No charge to call, none to be connected, and none for whatever quotes you collect. Only the work you hire is paid for, and you pay the contractor directly.
Licensed, insured and nearby
The contractor on the other end is independent, licensed for this trade in California, and based close enough to Sacramento to turn up. Ask for the license number and proof of insurance on the first visit; that request is normal and welcome.
If the match is wrong, call back
You are not stuck with the first name you are given. Call back, say it was not a fit, and ask for another. That is what the line is for.
What is not being guaranteed here
These are commitments about a connection, not about construction. The contractor is an independent business and the job is their contract with you — so get the scope, the price and any workmanship guarantee from them, in writing, before work starts.
